Persons using the Pool shall adhere to the following:


COVID-19 WARNING

  • The danger of exposure to the coronavirus that causes COVID-19 exists.
  • By entering the pool, you take responsibility for your own protection and for disinfecting your hands and anything you touch in the pool area.
  • Do not use the pool if you have a cough, fever or other symptoms of illness.
  • Maintain at least 6 feet between you and other people who are not a part of your household.

POOL ADMISSION POLICIES

  • Pool users must abide by all posted rules and lifeguard directives. Failure to do so can result in ejection from the facility.
  • All members must check-in at the gate or concessions stand with the concessions employees and show ID upon request.
  • Guest fees are due for all non-members. Cost is $5/person for a maximum of 5 visits.  Non-Greenville County residents may attend as guests free of charge.  No charge for permanent Nanny (notify Nanny name to swim@stonelakepool.com).
  • No one who has a communicable infection or disease shall enter the pool.
  • No pets are allowed in the gated pool area. The only exception would be a CLEARLY identified service animal with a service vest and proper ID.
  • All children younger than 11 years of age must be supervised by someone at least 15 years of age.
  • Lifeguards may require swimmers to demonstrate their swimming ability prior to allowing them to swim beyond the shallow end of the pool.
  • Lifeguards have the authority to deny admittance to the pool if the pool becomes overcrowded.
  • During electrical storms, the pool must be evacuated, as directed by the lifeguard staff.
  • No smoking or vaping on the pool deck area.
  • No weapons are permitted on the premises.
  • Acceptability of objects for play in the pool shall be determined by the lifeguard staff.
  • No floats over 3’ by 3’ allowed.
  • No bottles, glasses, or other breakable or dangerous objects shall be brought on the club premises.
  • No alcoholic beverages in the recreation area when minors are present.
  • Persons who appear to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be permitted in the pool or in the surrounding area.
  • All persons using the pool do so at their own risk, and the club assumes no responsibility for injury or damages resulting from use.
  • All injuries, no matter how slight, must be reported immediately to the lifeguard on duty.
  • Any parent who allows their child to swim in the pool without using swim pants and/or diapers will be responsible for the shock treatment of the pool.
  • No decorations can be used that will cause damage to the pool property, furnishings, or exterior fence. Tape should not be used. Decorations must be removed after use. Balloons are not permitted. This applies to all areas of the pool property, including the interior of the Clubhouse.

POOL RULES

  • No swimming when pool is closed.
  • No swimming when lifeguard is not on duty, except at adult swim (Safety Break).
  • No running on deck or pool area.
  • No chicken fights, piggy-back games, breath-holding games, dunking, splashing, horseplay, pushing, shoving, or any type of roughness or misbehavior on the club premises.
  • No diving in any depth under 5 feet.
  • Only forward entry is allowed from the deck. No flips off the side of the pool are allowed.
  • No gum, spitting, spouting, nose blowing or urinating in the pool or on/around the pool deck.
  • Socializing with or distracting the lifeguard on duty is prohibited.
  • No frisbees, footballs, hardballs or water balloons are allowed in the gated pool area.
  • Persons with open wounds, rashes, nasal discharge, inflamed eyes or bandages will not be allowed in the pool.
  • Only appropriate swim attire allowed in the pool.
  • No animals or pets allowed on the pool deck or in the pool.
  • No profanity on the club premises.

  • A 10-minute Safety Break is observed hourly by all persons under the age of 17.
    • No children under the age of 17 are allowed in the pool during adult swim; even if they are accompanied by their parents. The only exceptions to this rule are the lifeguards who are employed by Sweetwater Pool Management.
    • Children must remain 2 feet clear of the water during the Safety Break.
  • The use of the swim team’s starting blocks is restricted to members 17 and over, swim lessons given by swim team coaches (with permission from the lifeguards), swim team practices, and swim meets.
  • No hanging or playing on lifeguard stands or lane lines.
